Chelsea will be without Christopher Nkunku against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
Mauricio Pochettino said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano that there is no Nkunku. It was a difficult one. He is still not healed.
He has a slight back pain now he is well. It's not a big deal. It only delays the possibility of recovery.
The Frenchman has made just four appearances for the Blues this season. He suffered a knee injury before the start of the season spent a month recovering in December and suffered a new injury in training in early January.
Chelsea face Middlesbrough in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final on Tuesday 23 January. The match starts at 8pm UK time. The first match ended in a 1-0 loss for the Blues.
