Arsenal football academy graduate Joe Willock scored a consolation goal for Newcastle in their 4-1 defeat at the Emirates on Saturday.
Returning to the Emirates the Englishman told TNT Sports: We know what we are getting when we come here. They are a top team they play good football. In the first half I thought we could do better but I think in the second half we had a problem.
It's a bit bitter obviously I enjoy scoring but the result is the most important thing and unfortunately we can not get it. Got three points today.
I am grateful for the welcome I received from Arsenal fans. They gave me a warm welcome.
Arsenal have given me a lot in my career I have been there since I was four and a half years old. They gave me so much and I thank them. Today playing for Newcastle United and losing is a bit disappointing.
